DEAD END OR DIVINE ENCOUNTER?

In the midst of these challenges it may feel like the only option is to roll over, surrender, and admit defeat; but maybe there is another way. Biography

Kevin V. Gresham II was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Bishop Kevin Gresham Sr. and Lady Denise Gresham. However, Kevin spent most of his life in the Prince George's County area of Maryland. His first encounter with Christ was at the age of nine at the former Saint John Free Will Baptist Church in Landover, Maryland. Growing up, Kevin was blessed to have a family that exemplified strong Godly principles to equip him with the instruments needed to live a life pleasing to God.

As Kevin furthered his walk with Christ he began serving in his father's ministry at the Greater Saint John Church as the youth director and young adult director; he even appeared as the guest speaker at a number of engagements. He would primarily reference overcoming consecutive years of being requested to withdraw from his high school due to academic failures, and turning those experiences into successes by making it through college with an honors level grade point average (GPA). Once Kevin realized that his life was headed for a 'brick wall', he quickly turned the corner and went from having one of the lowest GPAs as a graduating senior to having the highest GPA in the entire college by the end of his freshman year. After receiving numerous President's Awards, Athletic Awards, as well as landing on the Dean's List several times, Kevin graduated with a Finance degree from the University of Maryland, College Park while playing two years for the Maryland Terrapin football team. Subsequently, he was awarded a position with the United States Federal Government.

Although Kevin was able to overcome his earlier academic setbacks and move in the direction of pursuing a career, he felt there was more to life than what he had accomplished. On June 11, 2011 he married Callece Gresham and three years later was blessed with a baby girl by the name of Kallie. Despite the enhancement of his family, Kevin's involvement in ministry did not cease- instead, it continued to flourish. He became a licensed minister of the gospel in 2013 and founded two bible study groups in Afghanistan and the United Kingdom while on a work assignment.

Kevin is currently enrolled at the Wesley Theological Seminary where he is pursuing his Masters of Divinity. He is also a published author who is set to release his first book in August 2015 entitled ''Dead End or Divine Encounter? - Discovering Oppurtunity Through Adversity''.

As a follower of Christ, Kevin knows that his assignment is to spread the gospel to those who are lost and those who are faced with tremendous adversity. For this reason, Kevin has devoted spending his time encouraging people and letting them know that''...all things work together for the good of those who love God; those who are called according to His purpose.'' (Romans 8:28)
